Welcome to my web page! I am originally from International Falls, Minnesota, but this will be my fifth year teaching at Sawtooth Mountain Elementary. I enjoy reading, especially mystery stories, beading, and speaking Ojibwe language. I attended the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and an emphasis in Middle School Social Studies and a second major of Ojibwe Language and Culture Education. For several years, I taught Ojibwe language and culture for the Waubun-Ogema-White Earth School District for preK-12th grades. I am excited to be returning to Sawtooth Mountain Elementary to teach 2nd  grade and can't wait to integrate some Ojibwe language and culture into the school day! Feel free to email, call, or stop in.
