Here is some information about the upcoming PSAT you might have signed up for. If you still need to sign up please contact Counselor Kelly Kotowicz.
The test will be given on Tuesday January 26th during the school day starting at 8:07am - 11:00am. Enter through the Eagle doors.
The test is $17. Cash or check is accepted, however check is preferred. Make the check out to ISD 166 and put PSAT on the memo line. Please bring the payment to Ms. Jeanne Anderson at the front desk of the school between now and the test date. **Please let me know if you need assistance with this payment**
On the Test day: The test will be here at Cook County High School in the High School Gym. Please enter through the Eagle Doors and please check in with Ms. Jeanne at the front desk on the day of the test No earlier than 7:45am.

Bus Passes
Just a reminder that students are not allowed to ride a bus to another student's house after school, unless they are already on that bus route and just going to a different stop. No bus passes are allowed for students to go on any bus except their own.


A special note to basketball fans -- While we have our first home game on Friday night, please know that there are no fans allowed to attend the games outside of the designated student-athlete family members.
Games will be livestreamed on the school's YouTube Channel.

PK-5 Community & Family Meeting


Important Update for Sawtooth Mountain Elementary:
ISD_166: Good Afternoon Sawtooth Mountain Elementary. Our Incident Command Team met today and decided to pivot our prekindergarten through fifth grade into Hybrid starting on January 19th. There will be a family and community meeting next week, look forward to more details. As always please let us know if you have any questions at this time. Thank you all for what you have done to keep our students and community safe and educated.

20/21 ELEMENTARY YEARBOOK PHOTO FUN

KINDERGARTEN: take a picture dressed as your favorite character
FIRST GRADE: take a picture with your pet or stuffed animal
SECOND GRADE: draw a self portrait and take a picture of you with it
THIRD GRADE: dress in your favorite color and take a picture
FOURTH GRADE: take a picture with the first letter of your name
FIFTH GRADE: take a picture dressed up in school spirit
***The yearbook also needs any photos you would like to share of your student during this school year. Pictures of them doing some distant learning to having fun outside.
***Picture taking tips: take by natural lighting and please try to have a clear photo
We have the choice to make this year great! Let’s have some fun with our yearbook and remember the good things about the 20/21 school year.


MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR JANUARY 25TH FOR PICTURE DAY AT ISD 166
Retakes for elementary students will begin at 8:07 am to 9:30 am. Remember to bring your unwanted photos if you want a retake. Students that did not have a photo taken earlier are invited to come at this time.
Middle and high school photos will begin at 8:07 am to 11:15 am. Please follow the attached schedule as to which time each grade has their photos taken. Please enter through the ACA door, wear your mask, and maintain social distancing. Students that are on campus as part of the tier 1 program will be taken to the ACA for a photo. Otherwise parents are responsible for bringing their child to campus for a photo. A retake day will be scheduled once photos have been received. Ordering information will be posted when it is available. Please contact the school if you have questions.
