Summer EBT Program: Eligible families of school-age children will receive $120 for over the summer months to supplement the school meals that are missed. A group of CCHS students attended the Ojibwe Language Sign Unveiling event at Manidoo-bimaadagaakowinii-ziibi (Devil Track River) today! Miigwech to Grand Portage Band and the MnDOT for hosting this event and welcoming our students--it was a great learning opportunity about the historical and present day significance of place naming.

The 6-12 band concert will take place next Monday, May 20th in the Arrowhead Center for the Arts Auditorium. 6th grade performs at 6pm followed by 7th grade. The 8th grade band will perform at 7pm followed by the HS band. There will be a free will offering.
Yearbooks are on sale!!
Students may buy a MS or HS yearbook during their lunch periods at school every day until they sell out!

Varsity and JV baseball travels to Barnum today for games at 4pm and 6pm. Varsity softball travels to Silver Bay for a double header, first game is at 2pm.

Due to lots of canceled lower level games we were able to add two JH baseball games.. 5/14 home v. Two Harbors starting at 5pm, and 5/22 at Two Harbors starting at 4pm. Working on finding some more.

Due to the weather the Carlton-Wrenshall makeup game will be played tomorrow, April 30th, at Chub Lake 1pm. Varsity only as CW has another game after.

K-5 students of Sawtooth Elementary School will be performing in their music recital on May 24th at 2pm in the Arrowhead Center for the Arts Auditorium. Students will perform music that they have been working on in their music classes. Family and friends are invited to watch the performance.
Tomorrows baseball and softball games verse McGregor have been rescheduled to May 6th, 4pm both varsity games and JH baseball to follow. No JH softball.
